I will bring my H/T.
You can track us on aprs.fi (there is a digipeater at the summit!) on:
http://aprs.fi/?call=VA3SIE-7&mt=terrain&z=13&others=1I will not bring my portable 2m beam because it is damaged from my last activation :-(
I need to re-construct it out of fresh tape measure material.
I will try VHF FM Simplex 146.520MHz with my (extended) rubber duck antenna and I will hold it horizontal at the same time. Who knows? :-) Especially since 2nd January is "VHF Fun Day" ... it has to be tried!!
What is the name of the application which looks for obstacles on the VHF path? Very nice!!
From VE2/LR-002 (Mont Tremblant) I was able to have QRP to QRP contacts with Ottawa and 599 signals (121km). So 40m should be no problem, Pierre. Looking forward to working you!!
